mate I just paid $2.50 to go from QEII medical centre to home - bus, then train, then bus
ticket lasts 2 hours
by car its about 50 minutes
If your mate was on the east coast, 2 hours of public transport and your mate may well be able to add a free ambulance ride to the nearest casualty dept.
and a small hand gun, or some kung fu skills
Such excitement of a morning you city people have, we are just going to be all by ourselves AGAIN on about 5 miles of beach, getting sand between our toes..........................................but we have coffee.

Good morning Sir. No cold fingers for me this morning, have a meeting with a local council building dept first up, so the sun will be warming my cockles by the time I see a tool (strike that, Ill be seeing a tool first up). I need to sort out about 10min worth of building issues, but Ill need to wade through about 25min of miss-information, and 25mm to stroke the councils ego and self importance to get to that 10min. An hour for 10mm will be a record, and a bonus if I don't loose my $hit which is the usual outcome. Gotta love tiny minded bureaucracy inspired existence justification

No sunscreen today.....umbrella time. Had over 60mm overnight and more coming.
Good for the garden, for washing the dust off solar panels, and lots of other things.
Why the unseasonal rain? We got the van out yesterday to do a few things and to air it out....at least the solar on the van is getting a wash.
