Congrats mate, picked up mine yesterday. One tip - don't let the dealer throw the jockey wheel in the front hatch. First corner out of the dealership and it slammed in to the hatch door and left the door hanging half open. Couldn't unlock it with the bent latch so tried to drive on a bit further only to have the whole thing fly open!

Sad Diesel04 ...it's already got to you!
We almost need a thread for pics of our vans while still in the dealers yard.
Bet you didn't stop at three photos, either. We went back a couple of times before pick up day. Always nice to look back on those photos of the inside of empty cupboards, etc.

Thats a possibility Brad, Have to buy a battery but definatly not from jayco, too dear, I can get a better quality one alot cheaper than what they want for one, helps when your in the automotive industry.

One question 04Diesel. The roof latches on mine aren't properly aligned - when I latch them they are right at the edge, or slightly off the edge, of the receiver plate on the pop top. Because ours must have been the same batch, just wondering if you had that problem?

the only other issues I've spotted so far is bubbles in the decal stickers - they are going to replace some of them, and 2 drawer runners under the kitchen bench are catch on something. I'm a bit of a perfectionist ... so a Jayco was always a risk! But other than that - looks like like we got a good one so I'm sure yours will be too. BTW check they take the plastic off the battery in the smoke alarm!

Albo, if you are a perfectionist, easy to do latches yourself, just need battery drill.

Hey guys, in regards to roof latches which ever way the roof needs to go try putting that end down first, eg if the roof needs to go forward then put front down first. This worked for me when we had our 16' then after that we put up and down at same time....worth a try!

Cheers.
