Well, my mind has not been made up yet, I might wait until next year and have a look at the new starcraft range and see if they suit.
I would like to have dealer that is close by in-case anything goes wrong.

How do you find canobolas marine @MolongMick? The guys in the boat side seem good, but the jayco side....... they talked me out of buying a camper back in 2011. I had cash! I went there with my parents a couple of weeks ago, to find a van for them... and they didn't want to know us!

Ryans Caravans Dubbo have my business. My outlaws are headed there next week for a new van :)

I've bought my last two vans through Canobolas Caravans, always had a good deal.
I'm still not 100% if I want to sell and get a bigger van, more weight, more size, more wind resistance.
I'll see what happens.

Oh well good on ya mate! That Leigh is good. Dunno about the rest ;) . I can see your point about getting in and out of bed, a longitudinal design would be better for us. Although young, my back is a wreck. Even after operations, the bed is not the easiest to get in and out of. Someone on here said they should make an expanda with longitudinal bed design, and I totally agree! I'd be 100% happy!

Hey mick,
The oldies just picked up a new Lotus 18' Freelander, with simplicity suspension, they appear at first look to be a good rig. Don't know to much about quality of build or support.

The lotus vans are nice, but the size I need it is too costly :(

@relgate I'm still umming and ahhing, really not sure what to do.

On one hand the van is paid out, yes might not be perfect for us, but it does the job
On the other we get a new van the way we want it, but need to get a loan (not really keen on that at the moment)

So, in short NO NEWS TODAY,

Probably just hold on to the Expanda for a bit longer.

I think I know the feeling. We are going through similar issues (although planning to stick with Jayco if we make a change)

If we did change it would be to a StarCraft OB, so yes we would also stay with Jayco too.

I'm taking a close look at the Starcraft 22.68-1 OB. Comparing it to the 20.63-1 OB Expanda.
Looks like price is very similar. The list price of the Expanda is a little lower, but the Starcraft has stability control, oven and a few other gizmos as standard
