Hi Burnsy, We've been there once before and loved it. A touch expensive during peak periods but a good setup. For us it's quiet, some good kids facilities and there's a bowling club next door when you just need a schooner
jealous! Im up there next weekend, but in a friends holiday house.
Which Park are you going to?
We stay at Weeroona, which is the first one you go past. The big 4 has too much concrete, not enough trees and the sites are packed in but a nice pool! Very nice spot up there and the beach is good for driving on, just need to watch the tides, especially king tides.

The road from Echuca is 10km sealed 10km dirt I can't see it being a problem it was wet when we went there and we had no issues

For Easter we are heading to Big4 Loxton CP. We have been there before and found it a great spot with a good safe swimming area in the river. My only hope is that I can find a great deal on a Kayak or two before we go. This will be are third trip in the van this year and the next trip is also already planned.
As we are retired we tend to avoid travelling during school holidays. But our sterling is going on a holiday with our son, daughter in law and grand dog.
That's nice they are getting a go of the van!!!
Are they testing it out or do they get to use it most holidays?

They have used it a few times recently while they are waiting for their own new out back Expanda. Sold their Eagle. We are pleased to share our van. As you can tell we are a Jayco family and enjoy the opportunity to go away together.
