Where are you off to over Crissy

Hi all,

Thought it would be good to see where everybody is going over Crissy if any where and if there are 2 going to the same place a catch up for a bevvy or 10:puke:could be in order :)

We are heading down to Batemans bay for 2 weeks then back up to the Central coast for another week as then the drive home is only an hour after the 3 weeks off.

Not sure... I have only been there once myself. We are staying at the caravan park down there. Looks like a fishing Mecca based on the parking allowance over Christmas for boats.

Off to Eden for 7 nights then to Pambula for another 7 nights! we have left our break until a bit later leaving on the 12th Jan this year to try and get some great weather after last Christmas at Beachport SA, the windyest place on earth!!

3 weeks at Manning Point for us, about 2.5 hrs north of Newcastle. The park is on the Manning River and next to the beach with 4WD access from the park, plenty of fish and the locals sell big oysters fresh from their lease opened right infront of you, last year we were paying $12 for a dozen....leaving on the 23rd of Dec....bring it on!!

Might drive by you, we are doing a similar trip at the same time. Tathra then Tuross Heads. Planning on only living on fish I catch! :smile::smile:

Hey Brookes, when having a beer at the Camerons corner pub and asked if you want to throw a $5 note up and stick it to the roof to support the RFDS the trick is 4 x 50 cent pieces, push the drawing pin through the middle of the note back it with the 50 cent pieces wrap the note around and chuck it up, may take a few chucks!!
Ask them to direct you to mini big red which is not far away, beautiful spot.

Lake Bonney Barmera for 10 days, it's a great free spot right on the lake, arriving boxing day and having a different Christmas Day this year staying at our local caravan park few days before and on the big day, the kids are so excited.....so am I.

Might be at Bateman's Bay for our shakedown trip in the last weekend before Xmas if we can get in.

Then we've got a week at Cylinder Beach on Straddie from 19 Jan, a few days at Mooloolabah, and a couple of days at Byron or Coffs on the way home. Hope the air con works!

Couple of nights from Boxing Day down at gerora, then out to Windsor, parking CooTay next to a mates cabin on the river for NYE
