NSW you need a roadworthy each year for your vehicle and I think they need a roadworthy for your van when it's over 5 yrs old........Canberra is more expensive.......Victoria wins the rego cost award.
Van and car don't need inspection unless over 5 years old.
Car and CTP green slip this year was $1375 plus van at $715
Mine same as Drover $195.35, 50kph in the start of a school zone is $162 plus 1 point if anyone is interested
Thats pretty reasonable for the van, would have thought more for concession though, QLD I fork out $495 for the Ute with Vets Concession..........Vans are all standard price but vehicles goes by cylinders but 5 cyl is the same as 6.
Yep NSW is a rip off when it comes to rego and other things for that matter,
Though in NSW those on any form of pension get free rego on 1 vehicle you only pay for CTP, so a couple can put tug in one name van in to other.

Don't ask for that or we will all come under NSW charges. Governments love to raise extra cash from you and me. :frusty:
You must get Turkey cheap. Rego is only $56.90 and $550 for my Triton.
In the peoples socialist republic of Victoria they charge me $56.90 for the 21.65 silverline van and
$666.40 for the Colorado truck, with no recurrent inspections etc.
And still they can afford to spend 1.1 Billion Dollars not to build a road!!
