welcome @Relle & Mark

what they DONT tell you when suggesting you up-grade is.......
the beds suck - Swan is more comfortable and larger
not as light to tow - that extra 600Kgs is a lot going up a hill
not as light and airy inside - get used to turning the lights on just to see at lunchtime
takes just as long to setup as your Swan

Gee, last thing I want to hear as I'm about to trade up from the Eagle......

Awesome stuff @Relle & Mark! I like the look of it and the ability to fit 5 in there. We were looking at the Swan during our search but decided that in a few years when we do our lap, we'd be upgrading to a 'van anyhow. So just fast tracked that idea... Just love the compactness of the Swans/Eagles/Flamingo...

Some upgrades for our Swan :thumb:
Thanks to @Colin&Sue for the great idea on the drawer & cupboard magnets went for the 2kg ones as the 4kgs was to hard to open;)
Also great idea on the level most appreciated :)
image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Drilled & tapped 2 holes to suit M3 screws & put washers underneath with a little silicone under the level to make it dead level :thumb:
Also like to thank @bigcol for the great idea of the bed fly pole blocks they come up a treat ended making 9 blocks 6 for bed fly poles & 3 for annex poles 140mm x 140mm x 40mm & 4 blocks @ 200mm x 200mm x 50mm for the drop down feet :)
image.jpg Before
image.jpg After a nice coat of paint.
With the hole in the centre I ended up shaping a grinding stone :flame:on a taper as the bed fly pole feet are on a taper.
A pilot hole was required prior to using the grinding stone :thumb:
Also @Pace thanks for the heads up on labelling all the annex poles ect:)

Yeah @bigcol I thought the same thing with the poles normally they are straight & flat on the bottom, with the ones they supplied from alpine canvas like a spike with a decent flat at the bottom of the pole to stop it from sliding away I guess will take some pics & post up :)

Allgood @bigcol it takes a clever person to come up with these great ideas thank you good as gold  :thumb:
It took a little thinking as my router is a hand held unit so a jig was made with a jigsaw & a little planning in volved & maybe a jackdee or two :smile-34:
& then another clever person @Colin&Sue comes along as says a router groove would be good for ant sand :loco: Back to the drawing board :chuncky:
