Thanks Colin&Sue it looks like a fantastic site with plenty of great ideas and yes looking forward to getting our new swan in late october.
Welcome Relle and Mark. Good to see another pop top camper join us. Pity your van wouldn't be ready sooner. You could have joined as at the corner.
Giddy mark not sure your last post ended up in the right spot ? New van pick up advice.
Go to all other jaycos on main page , then into jayco campers, type a thread tile ie help for pick up please , then post message under that thread u just create. C how u go.
Gday and welcome. Word of warning, all the Swan owner get an Expanda within 12-18 mths of buying their Swan. Speaking from experience also. Pace.

It is a pitty the van won't be ready Hopefully next month we should have our new van can't wait it's an upgrade from a huge canvas tent we won't know ourselves
Hahaha that's funny and so true we are already looking at the expanda 17.56 series
We went searching for a second hand Swan, or similar, to get away from setting up the tent...... Ended up skipping the camper step of the upgrading process and walked out (well drove out) with a 16.49.3 expanda. Best thing we ever did even though it was nearly double our original budget
Have no doubt you will enjoy getting out and about in the swan as I am sure many others on here have done previously.
OH.... Any takers on running a poll to guess how long before @Relle & Mark start a new thread titled "Just ordered our ##.##.# Expanda"

Took us 18 months, 5 trips and the last one was just the kids an I in the Swan!
That was the last straw!

We had an 07 Hawk from new for 3 years and loved it. We liked the big open air feeling it had when camping.

We ended up with the onroad with under slung axle & almost fully optioned up with all the bells n whistles
.We had a phone call today to say its ready for hand over on the 9th of October
