I had the almost exact same box. Fits big folding chairs. I took towed the van to a large car park to mark on the front of the van my reversing points to avoid hitting the box ...... but luckily I discovered that it didn't go round front-a-ways to well either. Sold the van and the problem.
Hardy har,har you two unbelievers.............my Jeeperific is 9 yrs old now and hasn't let me down, seats are very good, maintained by yours truly though. Will I buy another one, NO as I don't like the later models, going to go for a Ranger next but have had 2 Grands both were great.

20+ years ago, I had a 20' van I towed up to Karratha with 2 gas bottles and a box on the front - never ever looked like it was going to hit the back of my car at the time.........

my old CJ5 had great seats - out of a ZA Fairlane........ had great head room as well - no roof

Bro-in-law had the 2nd gen Cherokee, used to bash my head on the roof beam above the door getting in and out every time
not his, but one like it - his was the 4 door wagon.........
had a mate when I was at school, he re-built one of these - Willys Wagon, I thought it was the ants pants, as it was way better than the series 2A Landrovers........
went everywhere when he finished, great beastie I can tell you
I grew up with Green Series 2A Landy's parked in the driveway, as well as the odd 6x6 Studebaker
