G'day, we are about to undertake a 7 month trip through SA, NT and WA.

We are in the market for a 17.56.2 outback. Need to keep under 2500kgs as we are towing with a hilux.

We are located in Northern Vic, but will travel for the right van.

We have a budget of up to low 40's.

Many thanks, Luke 0408 242 844.

Our 2010 is not over 2.5t. You may need to look at a few years older for the weight saving. We tow our Outback model with a Prado and it's loaded weight is still under 2.5 by a reasonable amount. It seems like each year they have upped the weight of the things so may pay to go a couple of years to keep the weight down.

Hi @Luke Biltris ... @gspy4u is on the money!!!!!! Look around at earlier than 2014 models with a solid axle and leaf springs. The new suspension add at least 200 - 300 KGs to the weight of the van (So I was told???)

Our 2014 17.56.2OB was built on a 2013 chassis and came in at 2433KG ATM so no need for us to upgrade the Prado :)

Hi Luke,
We have a late 2010 17.56-2 outback in near new condition, garaged since new. It's ATM is 2312kg. We'll be ready to sell in 3-4 weeks, and will be asking $40,000. Van is in Geelong. Let me know if you're interested.
