ive heard u have to take them off every time u fold up and move mite be a pain 500 each but don't quote me on that but wont be far off it ive seen people here make there own which is what I will do its easy I will try to find the pick and show u

Yes you do have to take them off @Bluey but if only doing overnighters or short stays and the weathers fine no need to fit them... Just use the mesh screens. As for price you are close. $766 a pair if ordered with a new van. $900 a pair if ordered separately here in WA but seems all dealers are quoting different prices from what I've seen.

I still don't know why these bed end covers are so expensive, The July bonus sheet they sent me with the free bed end covers and ESC with every new van sold had the RRP of the covers at $760. I would assume that Jayco are not going to supply it in a cardboard box in the middle of the floor in your new van, so installation costs are included. So why are we paying $800 and more for supply only, the dealers are raking in coin off the top. You should be able to negotiate to around $500 for supply only or the RRP of $760 installed.

Rant over.

I'm jealous of your bench space! But i do love my toilet:) Do you get hot water with your van if it doesn't have the shower/toilet? We use our outdoor shower heaps more than the inside one, hubby installed it himself it fits nicely on the other side of the van with the plumbing under the front seat. Have fun on your first trip!
