Couple of hours to go. iPad reminded me that our Daylight Saving Time started while I was asleep, so I've just got to adjust all the clocks. Always had a soft spot for Craig Lowndes, so I'm on the Holden side of the fence. I like the odds too, with twice as many Commodores in the field.

No daylight saving up here, :whoo: just how we like it too. Our curtains don't fade anywhere near as much.:o

Yep the odds are better, ya can never have enough commodores I reckon.

Oh well....
It was a great race, and good to see the blue up on the podium for second. Unfortunate for Will Davidson & Winterbottom - I was really hoping it would be FPR's time this year....

Did you all pick Dickies "rock on the track" as the no1 moment in 50 years

Any Holden fans enjoy it while it lasts. This will be the last year Holden will win... Nissan will kick @ss :whip:

That said I would have rather Ford win this year to shrink the heads of the holden fans...

Will the road going version of the Nissan be sold in Australia? Altima or something I think. I wish it was like before with road going models raced. That would be fun.

The nissan website states that Kelly Racing have re developed the new Patrol block, nothing about what body it will go in.

Hi Stuart,
That might be wishful thinking i reckon;),
The Kelly boys can't present competitive cars and don't think they will do any better with a Nissan shell. Stone brothers, well that's another thing, they have some good drivers and smart car heads, with Mercedes backing who knows, reckon they will be the dark horses. Pretty hard to beat 888 though.... Happy days.

Yeah, it is the Nissan Altima which will be released next year as a replacement for the Nissan Maxima. The Altima in production form will have the xtrail 2.5 and possibly an option of a V6. The new model just released in the states is what we will get. Nice looking car that should sell well.
The engine is based on the one that is used in the new Patrol. At least Nissan is using a production engine unlike the ford and holden competition...

Mercedes are not backing the new COTF with Stone Brothers.
They are happy to say, "Good Luck", but that's about it.
Betty Saunders-Klimenko, a property developer from Sydney, is kicking in $12M to fund the team...
