I am looking at the touring model ATM 2156kg so a little to spare, @ 2300kg towing capacity Terri meets Australian Caravan Council suggested guide lines

OK, I guess mine is heavier being the OB, but it is as close to 2500 as possible really.. no room for comfort in our beloved Prado.

We actually booked in for a test drive on an AWD Titanium Terri but decided to stick with larger vehicles. I think the 200 cruiser will be next for us.

Yeah, I was really surprised when I found out Prado was only 2500 kg, AWD titanium terri way over priced for what it is and can do, seeing more and more 200 Cruisers out and about so I guess that speaks for it self.

Hi broyts, camped next to a 20.63.1 and the folks were kind enough to show me through, very nice indeed, wishing I went the AWD to be able tow extra weight. When towing do use the sports mode as the manual suggests? Have no doubts about the diesel grunt wise just concerned about the transmission.

Hi brotys, everyone you talk too recons that the transmission is good, I asked ford dealer also about fitting extra cooler and he stated didn't need it and no warranty if you did. Same with extra fuel filter no warranty if fitted. Looks like my RWD will be fine for the van we are looking at. Thanks again

I'm easily towing a fully laden 16 49 with 2010 AWD terry. Typically smash it, up hills and always overtaking the big slow diesels -) .. Personal choice I guess for me over Prados and Landys. With the AWD petrol expect fuel to guzzle a little, but it won't break the bank. The 6 speed auto is a dream, just knock out 6 when gradient is uphill etc. My van has ESC and I did find a considerable difference in how the whole package delivered in adverse conditions. Most trips humming along at 105, and still gets up to 110/115 when needed for overtaking.
