They are rated to 80kg which is plenty for my surf ski or ladder.

Very nice! I like the extra edges on the canopy, compared to my 2012 model version. SJS still one of the better looking ones IMO.

Small mod to canopy today. Led strip lights. One each side and one on rear window so it shines on the tailboard and behind for hooking up in the dark. Used a mercury switch in the rear glass, works a treat.

One that annoyed me scratching around looking in the dark in my last canopy. Standard lights are poor when loaded up. We are also heading off next week.

I can agree with the annoyance of scratching around in the dark...and not finding what you thought you were looking for.

Last thing for a while. My purchase at the 4x4 show. Great quality and strong was going to get some off eBay but decided on arb after seeing them. The origional guard would bend with an animal strike and wipe out the radiator. And the gear box a little bit susceptible aswell.

Hi Tone - just picked up my QE Chall.. Pajero Sport Exceed - what devise to you use for the OBD to talk to the iphone app. I used Android Bluetooth with ELM327 cheapie with Torque pro on previous vehicle but either the ELM327 or Torque Pro has been casing all sort of systems to disable malfunction. When I dont run the system no problems. My dash will flash up FCM (Forward Collision Management Disbaled needs servicing/speedo drops to zero/ATSC disbaled needs service/steerng wheel not locked. Like I say when not running ELM327/Torque no problems.

Back in August I posted how I liked the new tank and it didn't work, stupid phone.......................like what youvé done @Tone really looking good, like the new fuel tank, would hate to try and build one though, how much range you get from it now ?????

Sorry for late reply only just noticed your post. I use a cheap one off eBay but it's a wifi one as the Bluetooth is a pain to get working with an IPhone. The one I have has the plug and a lead to the dongle so it would fit in out Territory. Never had any issues using it.

Sorry late reply. The tank I get about 1400km per tank not towing and towing about 750-800 depending on conditions. As far as all the mods I think the tank was the best for towing. Not trying to work out if I can get to the next fuel after done just 200km. Now just fill up once a day not 3 times.

Fitted a TJM snorkel with some moral support from a mate to cut the holes in the guard. Job went pretty well came up nice.

NIce job, everyone else are whimps !!!!!!!!!!!!....MInd you no matter how many times I measured and checked template one of those little holes would be out.................................Some vehicles have double skins in the guards and are totally terrifying to do

And it doesn't help when the wrong holesaw is picked up for the main hole ....... Dremel comes in handy for that extra 3mm
