.... No change from $100 a month in the ACT.
Can we see this from the road? When doing all my pontificating about what type of van, will it fit etc, I worked out there is probably an opportunity for someone with a few acres around Canberra to farm caravans ( would mean you wouldn't be hooving goats on the weekends....) there is a dearth of storage options.... No change from $100 a month in the ACT. Any chance of a photo with the doors open? looks fantastic!
Ok, finally got my new ramps made, galvanized and bolted to driveway, my other ramps only suited the single axle that I had before. When backed up with jockey wheel down she sits level and can't roll back, In theory I could take the handbrake off and It should just sit there but haven't tried it! I still have another driveway on other side of house with carport and a shed down the back but won't fit a van. The good part about this setup is I have heaps of room to get underneath for any mods which I will start shortly. The cover fits good but will put it on first next time before I back her in.....gets a bit high down the back!
I was wondering why you are storing the van on ramps? great to be able to get underneath i agree, i have an automotive rolling thingo that you lay on to move around under my van.Hi Brad, the ramps are made from 6mm tread plate and is supported by the 6 side sections so no bend. From the underside view you can see that I've welded in bars between the sides to stop the sides from moving, it then becomes like a box section and then bolted front and back to driveway. The only way they will collapse is if the welds break and that's not going to happen....welded with a 3 phase mig with heaps of amps!
My other van lived there also like that for nearly 3 years. On the back of each ramp on the top section I also welded my daughters names, too much reflection to see in the pic but my girls were chuffed!
Cheers.
