I was loving the old Cortina

maybe even the old Morrie......

When I was a kid I found a mk1 cortina gt abondoned by the xray surgery I went into. I traced the plates through the help of a friend and located the owner and bought it for...........$25! Haggled him down from $50 ha ha. It was in very tidy condition inside and out but wouldn't start. So me and my bright mate decided to flat tow it home rather than pay another $80-100 and we rooted the radiator support panel and radiator ,total dickhead I was. Lost interest as I wanted something I could get going ASAP and it was only a shitty little 1500 cortina!!! . It sat around for a year or so and I sold it for $500.

Do I regret that sooooooo much. That are a fantastic classic.

Some of those cars at the auction will go for stupid prices. I might pop in and have a look anyway, Warragul isn't too far for me.
