just got back from our Tassie adventure we were away 108 days 99 in Tasmania, still did not see it all, going off season worked to our advantage, no crowds and camping fees were negotable as most parks were pretty empty and glad for the patronage, some touristy things were closed but having wineries and distillerys closed did not cause us much grief, cellar door prices can be a bit eyewatering especially when there is a BWS on the next corner, we saw snow, sleet, hail ,fierce gales, floods, trees down, even some sunshine, would we do it again in winter ? in a flash!!!
