Sunny Coast caravan park recommendations needed!

Hi everyone! Been hibernating for a couple of months since we arrived in Brisbane - too much going on!

Anyway, we are getting itchy feet and need to plan a weekend getaway to the Sunshine Coast - looking for recommendations on good van parks on the beach please!

Cotton Tree or Mooloolaba Beach .... Mooloolaba Beach is snug for big vans. Cotton Tree both beach and river frontage

Agree with @Crusty181 cotton tree is the way to go. We are here at the moment and it is great for the kids. Beach and river, along with parks and playgrounds nearby.

Have tried Caloundra but difficult to get into sites and lots of permanents. They were very friendly but very set in their ways so felt like the outsiders.

Cotton Tree if you can get in or Maroochy Beach Caravan Park we actually prefer as it's on the beach with great managers as well

If you want something other than a caravan park....only 4 powered spots, the rest unpowered....try Noosa Beachfront.

Over the Noosa River at Tewantin and a short drive from there.

Place is brilliant. No set sites, right on protected beach, lots of wildlife, but avoid weekends if possible as they get lots of fishing clubs.

We stay there at least three times a year and love it. But unpowered so need to be set up for that.
