Very nice job @achjimmy . I don't think I could cut the table down without chipping the laminate to pieces. What did you use to cut? Did you need to tape up the edges?

Just a good blade and cut from the underside so any chips are in the white base. Used tape to minimize but got a few chips.

Yes it's great wish I done it when I first wanted to 18mths ago. One of those jobs the more you analysis it the more you worry. In the end it was straightforward. Good to have a mate who's real good with wood though

Pretty much finished off the table. When folded pressure is kept of the folds with this stop. Thinking I my try a clip to stop the leg jumping around on corros?

I thought about a block of wood too Matt so don't worry. Just happen to find that. But thanks to the wheel arch not being square it doesn't look plumb from the other angle anyway

Didn't like the way the table could bounce a tad on corrugations or ruts. Thought about straps but seemed inconvenient , so can up with these clips from bunnings. Hold the leg and the table down well.

The original stone shield under the Van was just plain rubber from Bunnings and had torn a couple of times. Replaced it with some insertion rubber I got of fleabay.

It's double sided taped on then held with silcone. I have a clip made up for the lid and the boss was a little enthusiastic filling it but I reckon it'll stand up as well as anything Jayco attach. The jtech rides the corros better than any leaf sprung trailer we have had so with 4 tyres at 20psi reckon she'll be right?

Interesting I put the number plate on with super dooper double sided tape when we bought it. As I wanted to relocate the number plate one day and didn't want the holes. The damn stuff is so good I can't remove it without totally wrecking the number plate!

Try running some fishing line behind it.

Plenty of exprience being stupid and driving way to fast for the conditions ! I could bore you to a stupor showing you how I have prepped the van and Cruza for corros and rough roads.
