Nice work. I always pour a couple of litres of boiling water over the scored skin before cooking then dry it off. It really opens it up. Rub a good amount of salt and oil into the skin.

Not bad at all 2nd timer carnt wait for 3rd the lamb was so good next time will get all lamb not much meat left out of 4 kgs enough for one more meal
I had canned soup .... but I avoided the punch in the face, so its a good night. I starting to think me opening my mouth has some direct bearing on whether I get the punch

This is from an AMFX fire pit using an Auspit.

Honestly Macca, the best bit of gear we have brought. Have cooked multiple spits on it.. Roast Lamb, Chicken, Pork and Gyros. So many mates have brought one after seeing it in action.

Holds about 7/8kg of meat which is plenty.. (could hold heaps more if you got a support bracket for the other side..) it works on a counter weight system....

By far the best fetures are that it is fully ajustable (Up and down) to control your heat and the arm that it is on can swing 360 deg... so you can swing it away and cut meat off... take it off the fire..

Packs up into a bag about the size of a small camp chair bag.

The AMFX fire pit and the Auspit are a match made in heaven..
