My friend does, to be honest he hates doing it that much he is selling the van to buy a poptop. He has those proper wheels for the purpose.

Gday Brotys

Had a nephew which had a similar problem. He ended up just getting some old rims and using them to put his van into his carport. Just meant he had to swap over the rims for rims/tyres whenever he took a holiday!

This may be an an option....

My brother made me a dolly to lower the van onto as I needed the break drums about 30mm off the ground to get the van under the lentil of my garage. The dolly is on castors so i can push the van sideways up against the wall once it in the garage. It takes about one hour to get the wheels off get the van onto the dolly and into the garage.

This is a photo of the wheels .
We needed a very small wheel on the jockey as our driveway sloped and this gave us the clearance we needed.
We have since moved house and no longer need this idea. Photo coming soon as I can work out how to send it

Hey Brotys, I'm having the same issue. Low Tyre pressure help? Just to get into the garage. I haven't tried it yet but have researched maybe droping down to 10-15.
