Some pics upside down

Can someone tell me why when viewing pics with my iPad some pics are side wards or upside down ?

   Thanks for the replies - I went and had a look at th e Corelle stuff in Big W and really quite liked it, so have bought a set for the van!
   
   First official mod done - installed shampoo and soap dispensers in the shower - got them from Bunnings and I am very pleased with how they look

Yes the last one is good for me the first 3 are upside down to me

Yes some pics are the right way while in thumbnail once you click on them they rotate 90' in the larger pic .
The first three pics were the right way around till I saved them and posted them as they saved on my iPad .
Is it a iPad thing ?
