Here's one if any one is around with a clue ................. My MPPT controller an Epever XTRA 4210N unit, has a limit of 540w and a max of 40a, I am unable to figure out how when connected up in parrellel this is going to be achieved, panels at max can push 21v but usually at 17.5 for best amps, it just doesn't compute really ................... It now has 620w on the roof and even then can't hit the 40a and doubt it would anyway, everything works very well ................. My calculator shows on the very best day I could see from my panels is 36a and I doubt that will happen ................................................ I'm missing something but can't see what ?????
The old 200w job will only be there till it fails, which going by the corrosion under the glass may not be far off, of course having already fitted a replacement it will be good for years now............. Murphy's.
