I was always going to get a 16 footer but I basically ended up with the choice of an older 16 footer without hard lid covers, or an outback 14 with hard lids.

I decided to go for the 14 with hard lids, which means I do need to get an annexe for the two teenage boys to sleep in.

I love the hard lid version and not having to worry about setting up the extra flies with poles, ropes and pegs.

I have also found some van parks more congested these days, and know that my little 14 footer will fit in anywhere quite easily.

Just booked Cotton tree at Maroochy for this christmas. Woohoo!

When we were looking around for our expanda we had decided it was hard lids or nothing! Had a few years of a 2001 Swan putting up bed flies every time we stopped.

Was always getting a 16 then the 17s came along and they are perfect for a bigger family. From what I can see the 17s are the best selling at the moment. but hey, they're all good!
