17' Series Shower wall Mixer breaking at the threads

While away last week I was outside and noticed a large amount of water dripping from under the caravan while someone was in the shower.so I pulled the mixer off and discovered this….has this happened to anybody else?..it was the hot water line that snapped with the thread still attached inside the housing.

Assuming one bit has rotted off ?? not unheard of.... Usually just a standard plumbing fitting T piece which the guest fittings will fit into, shop at Bunnings can be easier than finding a van shop ....... Ive had a kitchen tap start leaking from the spigot pipe which had corroded ..... replaced the mixer tap with one from Bunnings
