If you can't find a new home I'll have it but while it would be good to keep my shed battery powered up to supply 12v for the shed I thought about it all and my little solar panel is doing a good job and I would have to sort a new 240v socket for it so thinking what Ive got works so don't need something else sucking 240 $$$ online.........but it would make a brilliant bit of kit for a 12v shed supply to keep a battery juiced up to power those odd tests, the old car radio for shed music etc......I have an Anderson plug and a cig socket on the wall to plug stuff into including a lead which keeps the old ute battery alive while we go away.

do you still want to find a new home for it? mine has a problem and is making the chassis live when plugged into power....

Have you checked the extension lead you are using as it may not be the Setek causing it, I had similar once and it was a broken earth cable in the lead, the breaker should trip for anything doing that on the van side of it but a short in the lead won't trip. A simple test on the lead will tell..............but I would refrain from using it till the cause is found and rectified.
