So @burnsie did you ever get an "easy to understand" answer from RACWA.......

So at this stage I unfortunately haven't even received a call back yet..........

I know @dagree also asks the question and was advised it won't bet possible but I was still hoping they would look into it further and possibly get in line with the other states.

Will be following up next week to see 1. why I didn't get a call back and 2. can I get a definite answer in writing :)

Hi guys,
Have just upgraded my RACWA cover as it now states on the classic cover and ultimate that towing is included up to 4t.
Still only 100km towing but better than nothing.
Note ultimate plus extends to 200km

Thats good to see that take on customer feedback, I requested this before we left for our trip back in March and they advised that it was only up to 2T, and I advised that most of the east coast ones are more than this, so they said they would follow up, and it looks like they have.

In the meantime I went with RACV even though I am from WA, initially they were not going to sign me up as I needed an address in VIC but then we read through the PDS and it doesn't state anywhere you have to be from that state so they were happy to sign me up. Thankfully haven't used it yet......

Be carefull reading the fine print I went over my RACQ ultimate rules and tried to cross reference with the other states to see what was what interstate and it's a migrane inducing effort, seems it doesn't matter what the regs are in your own state it's the local mob that set the rules' regarding towing and recovery...
