In NSW there used to be a phone app so you could keep tabs on river heights and flow with an early warning alert so your camp didn't get washed away and while mainly for farmers it was handy for campers........................... BUT awhile ago the NSW Government dumped it and brought in a web site that does much the same thing just a bit more clunky, once you register you can tag certain water stations/dams etc upstream of your campsite so you get a text/email when the water flow increases or level goes over a certain height ..................... Very good for dam releases or unknown rainfall upstream ...........
