Got my 18.5' all sorted on Friday Morning and was told that faulty conectors were used in the wires that connect from ontop of the axle to the actual electric brake unit at the backing plate on the hub.

I got my letters Friday, rang Lube Mobile there comming out Tuesday to do the checks, saves me 2 hours towing to Jayco Newy and back.

Had mine fixed today at first service. Tech said also that they tighten to 70. He has not seen any ubolts or wires loose yet. Seems the loose wires are an ALKO issue. Jayco just need to check them all to cover their ar$es.

I had Lube mobile come out on Wednesday, what a great service, on time, polite and very helpful, all was fine with my panda.

I had the repairer check my nuts (on u bolts) and he said they were not very tight, he has a van at the moment that had an underslung axle give way, heaps of damage....not nice!

I know this is old news, and most people would have done this by now, but I'm of for Easter and seeing how I'm 1000km from Jayco i have checked the U bolts and brake connectors and just for interested people the brake wires would just pull out of the crimping (HA) job. Here's a photo what to look for
