Sparkie finally turned up.
Brake controller fitted.

Toolbox finally on. Gas bottles in and LPG hooked back up. just got to finish the drawer with the BBQ in it, but its functional for now.
@Mike Jamieson , some great looking new gear. I hope the wide tool box on front drawbar (seeing it extends forward a bit more than van body) does not interfere with rear of tug when making sharp turns or backing. @Drover has warned others about this possibility and unintended damage to rear of tug.

Looks good, paint job is really nice ...if you come over this way bring your paint pot.... Your box so long as you can draw an arc of 900mm from centre of hitch and it doesn't hit the tool box then good chance you won't need to panel beat the back of your tug, of course tray back utes are another set pf parameters.

That has got to be the dagiest bed end catch ever, I assume thats what it is in the first pic.. :becky:

Thanks. Yep aware of that. I extended the tow hitch mount 200mm forward when I replaced it so I have 1150mm radius clearance from the tow ball to box. Going to have to be carefull with tight turns off road though.

Thanks. Raptor paint was easy. I'm no painter. It's rough texture makes it almost impossible to cock it up.
I get over to the sunshine coast most years - lots of family there.
Yep, checked the turning radius. Bar work on my 4x4 would probably fold the drawbar and toolbox in half .
Standard bed lock catch I think. Is there a better one out there?

I have 2 cracked tail lights courtesy of a stone guard that touches when the reversing camber is just so...

First trip away.
Just enough clearance on the tool box. Could have done with another 100mm
The new nuova raide movable table is a godsend. No midnight battle to get out of bed.

Looks great, both the van and the location!
We removed our table and just use a portable table we use both in and outside, makes it so much easier and gives a lot more room when the table is not there.

Great work!
