16' Series Please Help!!

Hi All,
I have had our 2008 16.49.1 listed on Ebay, Gumtree , Facebook & Caravan and Camping sales websites for over 4 weeks. I originally listed it for $24500 I have now dropped it to $23500 which I think is still a fair price, I have had only one phone enquiry also some stupidly low offers, am I over valuing our van or is it the wrong time of the year to sell here in sunny Melbourne. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know anything about you van but Yep it a good time of year to buy but not best to sell..you will always get the rediculous offers from people who will never buy.. Just list it & relist it a couple of time it will sell eventually.

Don't despair my 2010 Outback took almost 3 months to sell, plenty of enquires with stupid offers sight unseen, only 3 that came to look the third one purchased the van.
Could have sold it to the 1st bloke but his wife changed her mind at the last minute

yes, unfortunately, there are plenty of tossers willing to "low ball" you

have you had a look at others on the market the same - are you priced similar, that would give you an idea as to the cost

but I think most people want everything for next to nothing now days...........

Seems like a fair price to me @darcy305 ... We sold our 2007 16.49.3 Soft-lid Tourer just over 12 months ago for $27,500 within 12 hours of advertising.
If your not in a hurry to sell keep advertising it and knock back any silly offers you get. A van is really worth what others want to pay for it!

As @bigcol said have a look around at similar vans and compare what they are asking for theirs... That'll give you an idea of going prices.
