Sydney. Northern Beaches.
Sold the Triton and purchased a 120 series Prado.
It is a 2003 Grande model with a V6 petrol engine.
68,000 original kms with full Toyota dealer servicing.
New tyres recently fitted.
The rig is in amazing condition and is an absolute hoot to drive. Really enjoying having a petrol motor again.
Few mods planned for it....
Draw system.
Factory bull bar.
Brake controller and Anderson plug.

Can't wait to hook the Expanda up to it. :bolt:
Got some good holidays planned for this year so we should rack up a few decent kms.
Will upload more pictures once I get stuck into it.

Nice score.
We tow a 14.44-4OB with our petrol 120. Expect around 23L/100 when towing. Ours has a steel bar, snorkel, BFG's amongst other stuff which certainly contributes to fuel economy or lack there of.

Thanks for the comments. :)
Blank sheet it is. Not looking at putting too much money towards it. Car has a fair few goodies as standard.
Fuel economy is something I will notice. Getting 15.2 around town.
180lt fuel tank..... Have not been game to fill both tanks:crutch:....will keep you advised on the consumption. :director:

First trip away with the Prado towing the 14.44.
What a blast...exceeded my expectations.
Averaged 16.2lt per 100kms:bolt:
Interested to note that on the way up it was 17.1 using the cruise control most of the time.
Very happy.

Jesus we don't get anywhere near that with a similar combo.

I saw you post above and thought 23/100 seemed excessive (not doubting your post;))for a 4.0lt towing such a small van.
Premium unleaded, three speed auto, stock as a rock, new air cleaner element, averaged 90/95 kph.
On a recent trip down to Thredbo (not towing) we averaged 13's per 100kms.
The Prado pulled the weight with ease. Never found it struggled with the van in tow.:first:
