All,

Might be missing something , but twice in caravan parks my high pressure water tap has been turned off.

At Geraldton Bellair Gardens our tap was turned off during the day when we were out. Each slab had individual taps, not shared cluster so no need for anyone to visit.

So today at Kalbarri, our son showered about 9pm. We jumped in at 10pm and no water. My site has 4 taps and none shared , so either jokes being played or something ? Is this a common joke ?

First I have heard of it being done randomly (Not saying it doesn't happen though) but have heard of friends doing it to each other as a joke! Not that I know of anyone that has done it :barbershop_quartet_member:

Here at Kalbarri there is a walkway 1 m from the tap down to the tent section. I wouldn't put it past a tenter walking to ammenities to have some fun.

Turning off the tap might be considered as frivolous but actually nicking stuff needed for ongoing travel is a bit over the top.

Any others lose stuff...or were you the only lucky one?

Maybe my spares kit should include a spare shackle or two.

Have heard of the taps being turned off and ended being pranksters. On the other hand, have stayed in parks where reading the park guidelines they hand out, it is a request that water be turned off when ever not at campsite.

So it just might be a policed thing at that the park by staff.

Cheers Pace.

Only ever had people leaving turn my tap off, I have had some clumsy fools trip over hose or lead and pull them out, now I gaffa tape hose and lead to post, have had my power turned off a couple of times but I think done by folks leaving and they turned the wrong point off, DH ........................with power I've got into the habit of making sure gas is on to the fridge so if the mains drops off it will kick over to gas............
