jennymay, as we are members of Big4, I think thats where we are staying in Carnarvon, Quobba is so nice, scared the buggery out of my father (76) when we took him last year - he had never seen them blowholes before and was amazed.
I think they are another day trip while in Carnarvon, as well as the springs on the way out to Gascoyne Junction

Exmouth will be the eye opener for me, I have never been there..... thats going to be good

cheers

Hi @bigcol I have no idea how to attach my thread to this post but if you search 'Our 2008 bed reno' it comes up with some pictures of the mod we completed. To date, it's been the best thing we've done! The only issue we had the last time away was condensation under the mattress - not sure if this was caused by the foam base of the mattress that the box springs are in, or if it happened with the old innerspring as well. I have just bought some aero-mesh for under it which should help (hopefully). Good luck!

I remember asking about getting the beds modified before they made her, but was told not a modification that Jayco do

pity

but this seems to be the only answer as a permenent fix. thanks for that @jacbaz.

hey CG, we did the creek boat cruise today, should have found out from you that there was/is nothing in the way of shop etc once you get there.
I think Turquoise bay is tomorrow after the Glass bottom boat trip...........

If you get a chance try a couple of nights in Coral Bay if you haven't been there before

Be warned, you may get hooked on the place

Turquoise Bay was pretty, but it was blowing - and there is no shelter there.....
today we did Coral Bay & the Glass Bottom Boat there.....
well, what can I say......
havent been there since 1994 - and it is a whole lot better than back then thats for sure, boat tour was great, lunch at the Resort was fantastic, the drive from and to Exmouth was great, stopped in at the Gourge on the way home - all I can say is
AWESOME

just putting my feet up and having a rest now........

cheers

Bigcol try use the egg shell foam over the mattress we had the same problem, and I agree the floor would have been more comfortable, but once we foam mattress liner over the top no problem at all for us. We have actually done this for all beds including the bunks. I don't if you have Harris Scarfe over there in WA but if you do they have some extremely good sales on this item.
