Just wondering if they put an extra step @ the door because of the higher clearance???
Pretty much a standard height step off the ground. The BBQ also fits in the front boot which I have been worried about since buying it 3 months ago.

Yes. Went at 20 k. Now done 95 k and it hasn't broken. Not the smoothest auto I've owned but it hasn't broken so that's all that matters.

Finally got a way on the weekend for the maden trip for two nights to Dandenong Big4. Not overly exciting but my wife had a conference there. I did get to check out Carac caravan shop and watch some Drag boat racing.
We all love the 17.56-2 and glad we got the shower/toilet great for the kids especially.
We were a little concerned about Jayco build quality but so far very impressed everything is neat, well finished and aligned just one cupboard needs adjusting.

Out of curiosity what type of BBQ is that in the photo and is it OK to use?
Its a Sizzler Deluxe from Marine Bbq's. Its really good a little small but it just fits in the front boot. I prefer it to a webber baby q which is similar size. (I won't say that too loud on here it's like swearing Lol) the nonstick plate is great and has double burner all Marine stainless. I have only done BBQ on it but can do roasts, pizza and can boil water.

That is good that they fit in your front hatch. I thought it might have been a Marine BBQ, but was not sure.
I have been looking at them for sometime they look like great BBQs. Think we will get one when we get our new caravan (Kedron) in August/September, may even call into Port Stephens on the way home from Qld. and see if we can get from factory. I did not know they had a temperature gauge, that is very handy. We are looking at the Sizzler #2 Deluxe with high lid and getting the Cooking Rack so we can use it as an outside oven to do our Gluten free bread and roasts.

Ours I think ours is the deluxe 2 with high lid. It has the rack, I put in the temp gauge and moved the lid handle to the top so it would fit.

It looks likes the Deluxe #2, Nice neat job with temp gauge, it looks factory fitted.
The rack looks like a good idea for baking and having an outside camp stove for putting the kettle on, etc.
Where did you get gauge? It looks really useful for baking.
