Haven't posted any mods for a while so I thought I'd throw up my favorite one so far. After see various storage options on draw bars for the Weber and other random stuff, I decided to get a box customer made. I also wanted to add an extra gas bottle, as opposed to the old bayonet fitting for the barbie.....
Anyway first up was strip down all fittings from the draw bar.
Next was to get the squared up,on the front...
Gas bottle holder assembly...
Clamped up and ready for,tacking in place...
And the other side tacked in place.....When I ordered the van I only had the 1 gas bottle.
And welded in place with the box in place...
And a few of the completed job....
And with the stone guard refitted. Need to take this back to the guys who made it for minor modification. The mesh now has to stretch around the gas bottles and box and just doesn't fit.
All in all I'm very happy with the outcome. The benefit of having a dad that has been welding for over 50 years.....
Next is to get the rear bar made up to reposition the spare wheel. But before that I need to fix that god dame bed by raising the storage box as completed by a few on the forum.

Hey Cruza, just got the baby Q high lid.....nothing like a good pork roast in the bush. I will be keeping all the hoses, power cords ect plus all of the weber acc.

Same as ours and as you said.......Roast Pork doesn't get much better when camping.
