Ok, so just back from 4 days away in Expanda, first trip since solars been on, water pump and bigger tanks been fitted and tool box on front been fitted.
Happy to say all worked perfectly and had no issues.
Nights were very chilly so diesel heater was on from 1900-0800 every night, set at 20 deg till we hopped in bed then back to 18 overnight. Toasty as. Used about 10lts of fuel.
Only thing I stuffed up with was position in camp spot, I perfectly selected a spot that gave us full sun for about a hour in morning and hour in late afternoon so only saw 1-2a coming in duriythe day. Even so battery was at 13v each night.

Two little mods today, put a ‘over centre’ catch on gas bottle holder last week and of coarse the botle I used is a different size to the newer bottles and couldn’t do up catch.
So knocked up a small extension which Ill use till I work out which is the most common size.
And chopped off the jockey wheel and welded on a flat plate, reasons are more ramp over clearance and unless your on perfectly flat smooth concrete, you cant wheel a caravan around on your jockey wheel.

Oh !!!! your foot on the jockey is so nicely done, puts me to shame, I just cut the wheel off and stuck on a bit of flat that was roughly square, ground the corners and gave it a paint, yours is just so well done like the rest of the rig....... I really have to lift my game I think...............

The pics of the rig all set up is just fantastic, a brilliant job all round.

Ok, black checker plates been decided on but then wondered about front and rear drop downs.
Front has light peppering from stones I say and rear has dents from push bike rack coming loose(according to ex owner), was planning on reskinning it but wondered about tray liner as well.
Sorry for crappy photo shop job but again, you’ll get the idea.
Maybe a custom made Jayco logo in middle??

Also fitted the annexe walls for first time today, mainly to see how much I needed to get the bottom lengthened.
I only planned to have PVC added to bottom but with the skirts it has already, Ive just put eyelets in them and will run with what its got.

You
I would leave the front and rear drop downs as is...........

the black looks just...... too much..........
Think your right, getting my spray painter cousin to paint checker plate over weekend, I just hate painting(and suck at it) and he’s only gunna charge a tiny bit more than paint was costing me. Front and rears as are for now.
Put some rubber stone flaps on the other day and started fitting up the plumbing in shower.
