Finally nearly finished my underneath spare wheel winch. Moved it to the rear because I have a box coming and want some weight behind the axle. Would have liked it further to the rear but worried about it scraping. Anyway it's setup with a 200 cruiser spare wheel winch it takes the same crank as the drop jacks use or can take a cruiser winder in an emergency (as well as a rachet )

Thanks Guys, it also has the added bonus of stoping the floor from flexing everytime you get in and out of bed. It's rock solid now.

Before fitting up the box I found I had a spare 100-120mm and some 100mm pipe laying around! Even had the ends, just need the caps.

Finally got the "box of my dreams" made and fitted. Had to relocate the gas bottles forward so sourced the original brackets from Jayco and I also welded another brace across to enable me to put a jockey wheel bracket on the a frame for travel storage.

Picked up the box as it was made in Lismore by Attard Sheet Metal and freighted down. Very well packed. I went with plain alloy powder coated but prop plate doors to match the side. The checker plate has a problem where it's folded around the door seals. The solid alloy sheet seals better.

Thanks guys. Plenty of ideas gleaned from others on this site.

Cruza feel free to fix that last photo if you can? No idea what happened but it's right way up on the iPad.

Looks great @achjimmy . Is yours the extended drawbar?

Yes Cracka it is. 300mm extended although the box is 480 wide. So Iam still losing a bit up front. Problem I have now is my tap and stone guard will both foul the car if I pull enough lock. The stone guard can be fixed by making it more upright But then I fear it will be less effective. May look at a Stonestomper but how do these go on full lock? Also really don't want anything else to disconnect.

Wanted to stop the box doors from hitting the ground, might look at putting in an internal restraint but for now these $1.50 brackets will do.
