Tried poison baits?
Next step I was trying to avoid having a hidden dead thing in the van.

I have the solution......................turn power off, disconnect battery, remove battery form smoke detector, turn off LPG detector......place gas bottle on floor, turn on tap, get out and close door...come back in 3 hrs...hold breath, turn off and remove gas bottle, leave door open......remove dead mice at a later date.......

A creative solution but the ongoing lpg odour isn't very appealing.....

I've had recent excellent experience with one of these from the big green shed.
My dog has a habit of eating poisons.

Okay, the non odour solution, close all windows and vents, open all cupboard doors, grab a big, at least a few kilo's CO2 extinguisher, zip tie the trigger open and slam the door behind you, one dead mouse in 5 mins for sure...........................I have other solutions but they may cause your van to be match sticks or possibly a fire/electrical hazard....................and if I put them on here the Feds may visit me.......
