Nitrogen for tyres - yes or no?

Just top it up as air is nearly 80% nitrogen anyway.

Yep top them up.... There's around 78% nitrogen in the air so topping up with mainly nitrogen anyways!

We also have nitrogen and have pumped our tyres up with the compressor and doesn't seem to affect them..

Nitrogen is a gimmick, end of story

We put it into aircraft tyres to cope with cold temps at high altitude and high speed/high temps on the ground.

It is better than air, but just top it up and you'll be fine!

It handles better with white writing out and it looks cool while doing it.
