Welcome mate great times ahead.
It took me a few trips to get the hang of things setting up and packing up. That awning got me a few times.
Lucky fellow caravaners came to my aid and helped out and showed me how to close it.
The bonus of caravaning is people are willing to help.
I was planning of heading up to PS next school holidays but everywhere is booked out.
Enjoy the new van mate

Hi Crusty, we love the bush surrounding the park, walk to the Bay side (Port Stephens) Jimmys beach, can also walk to surf beach (Bennetts Beach) or drive to patrolled area. We prefer parks with bush setting, unsealed roads not like regular streets (get that at home!!!) look up North Coast Holiday Parks great one at Seal Rocks too. Not all sights have pads in fact up until recently no pads!! Amenities usually clean has playgound for kids, has a public fire pit (when permitted,) powered and unpowered sites, entertainment for kids such as outdoor movie nights, live entertainment...

We've stayed at Seal Rocks a few times and loved it. The first view that opens up as you drive out of the trees is magnificent ... does it still have the coin in the slot showers ??? A mate went up to Fraser Is and was looking for some tips a couple of weeks back to stay on the drive back home to Melb, I suggested Seal Rocks. He called past but said the stench from the seaweed was horrendous, so he moved on south to Port Stephens

Last time we were there still coin opperated showers... The seaweed at times can be very invasive usually after a big north easterly, we just go to another beach usually cant smell the weed at the park
