Have not done a great steal of mods to the van, just wire basket shelving in the wardrobe, some smaller storage units hanging in kitchen for small things like sauce, detergent etc. Only have standard foam mattress on our bed, but have found 'egg carton foam topper' makes it heaps more comfortable.
