Had a look today, compared to smaller 5th wheeler's was a good price. Not for me though, just wonder how much room 2 people actually need when on holiday?

no coffee machine seen, but does have a small 6 bottle wine fridge.

Hmm interesting, I understand there is a market for them as Jayco wouldn't build one unless there was.

But I just don't get the concept of a fith wheeler.....

Its got a bit more room but nothing a nice big sterling couldn't give me with some change left over from the 85k.

I love the look, feel and finished but just don't get the 5th wheeler concept.

Unless I am missing something?

tend to agree - it doesn't really work for me, even if we didn't have the kids. Although it is well priced compared to similar, I found some of the other vans much more comfortable and extremely well appointed for much less. (let alone the change in vehicle to tow it - although there is a nice Toyota Tacoma for sale around the corner)

Expanda towing a fifth wheeler is like towing a semi. Infinitely more stable for the size, backing also is much easier. Additionally your onroad length is shorter for given living room.

Horses for courses, what is the towing requirement. Some can be pulled by Jap dual cabs, others require US trucks.

Ok, so I have knowledge or experience with 5th wheelers, but what's with putting the bathroom as a walk through from the kitchen to the bedroom? I'm thinking awkward..... Is that a normal layout for a 5th wheeler. No offense to all the male forum members but come on, you'll all be stinking out the entire van from front to back.
I'ts just strange, I'm not a fan.

but how is it different from an expanda with the toilets off the kitchen area? That was one of the reasons we didn't get one with a toilet/shower - smellys from the whole family, not just the one male :)

(Funnily as a building designer, I'm not allowed to design a house with the toilet off a kitchen...)
