Just wondering if anyone if looking for a Satellite Wifi hotspot cheaper than retail to use on their travels. I have a brand new in box unit that we do not get far enough off the beaten track to need that we picked up in a competition at the caravan show.
Apparently you can use up to 5 devices at a time and from what I can gather you can connect your normal mobile via wifi to make calls using the satellite connection.
Connection rates aren't cheap, but suppose it is better than just having a satellite phone sitting there as it has the internet functionality.
Presently have it listed on Ebay for $950.00. They are selling anywhere from $1200 to $1400 online and in shops.
If anyone is interested let me know and will arrange payment and postage.
