New BT-50

Hi All,
Anyone got any any decent km's on one yet/info, had accessories fitted etc on the new model BT-50. they are pretty thin on the ground here in NZ so far. Thought this might be a good place to start gathering info. Will probably only be towing 2000kg. Mazda is slightly better specced than D max and cheaper here.

G’day @Tezza , can’t help you with the current model. My 2014 BT50 has a few bells and whistles fitted but has only done around 61,000 km. It has towed my Journey for most of those kms without missing a beat and I can’t see me replacing it. Good luck with your new version, it seems they are a good buy.

Yes they are a good rig, we had a kitted out 2015 model and towed a 22.68-01 OB triple bunk for a lap in 2015 ( my profile picture on the way to Mungo NP ). All up 5950kg, did 40000 km, never missed a beat or used a drop of oil. Sold it and moved the family back to NZ.
