I'm looking around for a plastic rectangular tank, 100lt which will stand up against the back wall of the ute, towing range is down to about 450km at a stretch so 300km between fills is a big pain.............these little chook chaser CRD's cam chew thru it when they have a load behind.....oh for a V8.

It's hard to not use the right foot when it sounds so good, I will be carrying around 185L now so should get me a bit further, I will never own another CRD.

you have a very valid and justifiable point there

my Patrol maybe slow (your only allowed 100k/p/h towing over here anyway), but the 4.2 does not drink as bad as the 4.7L Cruiser when towing..........

decisions decisions

Nothing to do with speed or economy it's to do with reliability and the cost of repares when something goes wrong.

You could always get one made from steel or alloy.
