@crackacoldie that's what I thought! Ours is a 2005 model. If the
Van is replated is it still safe to tow? Really confused.

Hi Carpanda. The tare does not change when the van is replated, just the amount of luggage I can carry. Means I can only have 350kg instead of 475 luggage while I am towing with this car. Just buys me time to save up for a more suitable car.

No, apparently they don't do the hand pump any more as the pump automatically cuts in when mains is not on.

Yeah I think the fact that it runs off battery power automatically if not on elec makes the hand pump not needed.
Already found a few warranty issues with silicon and stripping in bathroom, nothing that can't be fixed though. Wind up tv arial is not as good at giving signal as the other one I had on my old van but it will do.

Hello what are you returning with the Pajero., I have the same set up as you nice. It pulled as you say very well,
just going to update my suspension and put another tank on it.

Shame. For us we used the hand pump on occasion to access clean tank water when connected to a 'dirty' mains. It looks like the starcraft I have on order has no hand pump as well.

make sure your signal is from the Antenna.. Mine was not connected correctly and I was only getting the aerial from the TV cable..
I could unplug from the wall and leave the cable connected and have the same reception.
I might just go check mine, i don't get real good reception....

I have asked for a hand pump in our ordered Journey as I use it for a quick glass of water at night when all is quiet, The electric pump was always extremely noisy.

Hi Somon 32. If you mean my fuel economy, I got 15l per hundred towing home yesterday at 100km/hour. I used to get about 13 with my old freedom but this van is a bit heavier. Where are you putting the extra tank?

our handpump spits out a bit of water when we turn on a tap or the shower?? Pain in the butt if you have bread and stuff on the breadboard over the sink . missus was making us lunch one day and we washed our feet on the outside shower and ruined her hard work as spat water out over the area.

I like the hand pump to for free camping as you tend to use less water rather than running the pump.
Then you can stay away longer because your water lasts longer :)

Good idea @chartrock
