We are running down to a regular haunt at corringle skips , Hoping to get there Friday with enough light to spin the prop:fish2: then watch the sun go down over the water with s frothy in hand:becky:


Hope everyone stays safe on the roads and has a great weekend if your lucky enough to be not working

Well done @dagree .....i just caught up with that news.

I hope it's contagious!

We'll probably be somewhere wround Coffs, or might change our minds if we wander in a different direction.

Hope all who have a holiday enjoy the time off but reflect on why they have that holiday. Those who don't get the holiday now your turn will come. It could be any day, it seems. Where did tradition go.......

Reflect on a 40 hr week and an 8 hr day both of which I very rarely did, actually can't remember. A 40 hr week I would only work a 4 day week at most..................something to dream about I suppose but would never had paid the bills. I was always in that mob that thought the average wage would have been fantastic wage, part of the 85% of the work force that got no where near it.

Yep...been there, done that.

I used to average over 70 hrs, never had much time for unions but I do admire the tenacity of those in the late 1800 and early 1900 eds who led the push...it's just a bit of a shame they've pushed too far.

I cringe every time I read of abuse of union funds by those in power.
