Long Weekend is coming!!!

So what are the plans for the long weekend?

I am off to Angelsea for our annual long weekend visit. Might need to check and see if the park will still be there next time as it is changing hands.

What is everyone else doing?

We have the upcoming Labour day weekend in Melbourne on Monday the 13th of March. It does not apply to all states, but certainly does here!

so Labor Day is a really moveable feast?

May, October and now March.

The mayday marchers would be impressed.

Good for camping but .....

Anyway, we'll be somewhere in NSW, near the beach and relaxing ...if we ever get away this week.
Possibly Yurygir national park.

Hi all, we are heading over to Coral Bay on Friday, coming back Monday Love that place!
I am taking the kids and van in the morning, in a convoy with some good mates and their vans and camper trailers. SHMBO and a couple of other wives need to work that day, so they will carpool over after work and get in late, we'll be set up by then

Im struggling to explain how we celebrate "LABOUR" day by not going to work ...working a double shift for free, seems more celebratory of the day commemorating "LABOUR". Defiantly celebrate with me, in spirit, by refusing to take the day off. Back to work you bludgers.

These Labour Days, NSW,ACT,SA have it in Oct, QLD and NT in May and WA on 6 Mar and Vic the 13th.............None in Tassie as they probably don't need it.

My last job started at 3 days a week and it was great but then it extended to 4 then just jumped to 6, wasn't all that much fun then by day 6. Bank was happy though.
