Maccayak I have that model without the DVD unit and can vouch for the ability to take a hit or 2 last trip back TV bounced off the cabinet on to a bucket screen first for approx. 2 hrs. still going the time before off the top bunk into the fridge door then onto the floor screen down for an hour an half no marks. Yes I’m a slow learner.
P.S very happy with the picture quality.

G'day Geoff,

Thanks for posting, I'm hunting down a tv for my caravan so perfect timing. Can anyone confirm where these Tvs are made? China?

Cheers

Had a look on mine, cant see but I have a wall mount bracket on mine, but I think there would be a high chance that it would be Chinese made.

They are made in China directly for Kogan he went over there and had a factory set up, you are also right on the Samsung panel. Samsung actually threatened legal action because of the way Kogan were advertising the Samsung name on the kogan website. Either way I think for the price there wouldn't be anything on the market in this country that would match it in my opinion. Especially if you buy on their post free days which do come up regularly.

Great find, I've Pre-Ordered! Don't care too much for where its made, as long as Tom and Jerry can be seen for the kids, I'm happy -) thanks for sharing the find

LUK77Y, Did you order the 12 V optional lead, if you didn't Jaycar sell them cheap. All it is is a ciggy plug lead with the plug that goes into the TV. It would only be handy if you were into free camping other wise you dont need it.

My Iphone is made in China and it is still working:)

I wanted to get my daughter the Kogan smart phone, looks ok value for an android thing, but she has to have an "I" one.

Cheers Geoff

I had a look on the Kogan site and could not see the leads so it could come with a seperate 12v lead. When I bought mine last year I ordered the optional lead. Wait and see, but they are at Jaycar for around $5.

Just take the lead that comes with the TV into the store as some of the plugs (TV end) look similar but are a beezd??k too small/large.

It may be worth an email also to Kogan as they should have the leads anyway.

I bought a 22" one last night. Couldn't wait for a 24" one as we are heading off in a few weeks. If you type in 12V in the search the cable comes up. I couldn't find it either.
